Most of the time the assignments on this education take place within groupwork, you're not self-directing, but you're working together, of course this needs a level of self-directing but most of the work comes from communication with your fellow students. For me, this competence like, competence number 8, occurs in my daily job. Walking around on an event, with 40 employees working for you, an event organization that you need to keep happy, long days and around a thousand visitors. For me, this is quite common, but this also needs a high level of self-directing, what are you going to do, what needs to happen, communication with the employees, visitors and the organization, everything needs to be well thought off and needs to go according to plan. But what if something happens out of nowhere, you don't have standard protocols for everything just laying around, now you need to improvise, but keep in mind, communication is key!

Meestal vinden de opdrachten voor dit onderwijs plaats binnen groepswerk, je bent niet zelfsturend, maar je werkt samen, dit vereist natuurlijk een niveau van zelfsturing, maar het meeste werk komt van communicatie met je medemens studenten. Voor mij komt deze competentie zoals, competentie nummer 8, voor in mijn dagelijkse werk. Rondlopen op een evenement, met 40 medewerkers voor je aan het werk, een evenementenorganisatie die je nodig hebt om blij te zijn, lange dagen en zo'n duizend bezoekers. Voor mij is dit heel gewoon, maar dit vereist ook een hoge mate van zelfsturing, wat ga je doen, wat moet er gebeuren, communicatie met de medewerkers, bezoekers en de organisatie, alles moet goed doordacht zijn en behoeftes om volgens plan te gaan. Maar wat als er iets uit het niets gebeurt, je hebt geen standaardprotocollen voor alles dat gewoon rondslingert, nu moet je improviseren, maar houd er rekening mee dat communicatie de sleutel is!
